HERO SCAR:

Come along as we navigate through this new venture! My friend and I are combining talents to publish an educational children’s story.

To give context, my friend was born with a congenital heart defect. She was born with only three heart chambers instead of four. She has had to undergo many heart surgeries to live a healthy and fulfilling life. She wished there were more stories like hers out there when she was a child to let others know they are not alone!

Soon after she began to write her story - she asked me to help illustrate it for her. Of course, I said yes! We are both new to this and will be documenting the process along the way. Please follow along and see what we have been up to, to bring this dream to reality!
